ROBUSTA

Robusta coffee beans are produced by the plant species Coffea canephora.

Compared to Arabica, Coffea canephora grows well at lower altitudes, resists pests and diseases more effectively, and produces beans with higher caffeine content and a bold, stronger taste. It is widely cultivated in regions of Africa and Southeast Asia, especially Vietnam, which is the world’s largest producer of Robusta coffee.
