A strong classic Americano emphasizes the bold flavor of espresso while maintaining the smooth, diluted texture that defines this drink.

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of espresso (or a double ristretto for even more intensity)
  • 90–120 ml hot water (85–95°C)
  • (Optional) sugar to taste

Method:

  1. Preheat your cup with hot water to maintain temperature.
  2. Brew 2 fresh shots of espresso.
  3. Pour the hot water into your cup first, then add the espresso on top to preserve the crema.
  4. Stir lightly if desired and serve immediately.
